Too easy to warp the back plate or have an issue with a screw or have a small gap that doesn't close all the way or a top trigger that doesn't work the same after.
I feel pretty confident in my ability to swap the drive but there's very little benefit in my situation. For others I would totally get a 1tb internal drive for $100.
Yeah I think it would be worth opening up once to replace the drive if there was a noticeable load difference like going from a HDD to SSD. But really I'm happy just throwing in this 512gb card that I'll probably never fill anyway and calling it a day
