EDU discount is actually more expensive, as it is calculated from MSRP. The WD chat rep said I should just buy the discount instead.
In the event the price for the 4TB (or even 2TB) goes down even more during this waiting period, the question now is if WD will offer Price Match in the event a competitor lowers the price.
Having this on backorder basically guarantees no one else will price it lower than 89.99? (Note earlier, even WD had the 2TB at 99.99$)
