Yes. Better than 250. But it could mean peak brightness. Which was the same for Acer.
IPS panel, 1440p, 165 Hz, Freesync Compatible (Probably Gsync too) for under 200 is a great deal. My cheapskate can finally go from 1080p to 1440p.
Same here which is a shame because the 2021 version went on sale for around $180 often so it looks like they slapped the omen badge on it with no new features to justify an artificial mark up.
Anyone on the fence, at $200 it is still a solid monitor but these exact specs were going for $180 last March. Only has hdmi 2.0, dp1.4, 3.5mm in and no speakers so this isn't the best for ps5 and Xbox x. SDR performance and response time are great but you won't get true blacks if that's something that bothers you.
Look at the Revision number on the back of monitor and if it starts with L its LG panel. B means BOE panel.
If it's not opened yet
There's a white sticker on the outside of the box. If you are shipped a BOE/BIM code, the panel is strictly inferior to the LIM/LG code. So you want lim or lg and numbers after it

Rtings review mentioned BOE panel is slightly inferior to LG. I am not sure if 2023 revision also has both panels. Fairly new monitor for reviews to catch up. Specs seem almost same as x27q 2021 model.

Found a reddit thread on this monitor and people seem to be getting both panels BOE and LG. People that got the BOE panel feel it's still as good.

Anyone seeing a replacement offered?. All my return choices show refund only. Strange, why Amazon does this, may have to chat.

Running it with calibrated settings and going to continue test driving it and see how this honeymoon period goes. Pretty happy with the performance and price so far though.

Do you have any info on the hw update? I can't find online what the update is for.
I've been using this in warm or night mode for dead space and gears of war because it's more comfortable. Any adjustments I should make to get a good HDR image?
and yes, I see the ghosting when I power it on, but once I'm using it I can't tell

I believe as long as you calibrate the monitor to your liking it should be okay for HDR compatible videos. Most IPS monitors including this one is not really that great at HDR performance as the maximum brightness can only reach around 400 nits. I wouldn't put too much effort on trying to calibrating for HDR.
