I posted this earlier today for Lowe's where it was a deal for a couple hours. The deal expired but if you want white or black it is back for Amazon. Tons of smart home features and it is a well designed and built fan. Hope this can help for anyone who missed out.

I love my Haiku fan but sadly after less than 5 years it's having issues. The motor has become quite loud and the light buzzes occasionally when at full power.

5 years isn't a short amount of time but it was a >$1000 fan. A bit frustrating when I have cheap home depot fans lasting longer.

Before the issues it was the quietest, most powerful fan I've used. Outside of the smart features it was extremely good, and the smart features worked quite well. The move to the BAF app was good, I much prefer it to the old Haiku app.
Here's me never hearing of this product, reading the title of this thread, and trying to guess what the product is: "So it's a product for people who are big ass fans of Japanese haiku poetry".

Man I'm so sorry to read this. I have been really eager to get one in my living room; we have 8' ceilings and this seems super low profile, nice looking at effective. I do not want to change it anytime soon and so I'm bummed to read there's a short shelf life.

Have you reached out to see if they'll replace it?

Big Fan of these ... see what I did there lol.. main issue I have had with them is they only offer the 2700k light and just too yellow for my liking. So rarely do we even use that part. Super effience, quiet, works with said robot voice "helpers" you may have as well. Bought back in 2016 and have only had issues with wall controllers disconnecting sometimes from wifi. Fans themselves have never failed to perform.

Just curious have you thoroughly dusted the fan and lubricated/oiled the motor/bearings?

It is on sale for Prime Day.
This deal blows, I guess.

Great minds think alike.
That is what they say, at least.
We have proved them wrong.

To be fair it was the Haiku H, the model itself is likely 6-8 years old. The issues started around 2 years ago. The entire model was phased out and replaced. They have had a lot of time to refine and improve them. They have become much more popular since then as well.

Support is very helpful but last time I reached out they pretty much said there's nothing they can do unless I send it in which I didn't want to do. Repairs would have likely been on my dime plus shipping. I want to say the warranty was 5 years but I could be wrong.

Yeah, I did what I could. It actually seemed to really help for about 2 weeks but then it got worse. I think the slight disassembly/jolting of the whole thing just kinda moved something around and it eventually got back to where it was. Next time I have it down I will do a total teardown to the best of my ability.
