Looks like wd may be leaving the Ssd business. Assuming all the drive warranty we bought will be handle by new company if they spin off ?
That's not what the article says. It says that they plan on merging their NAND flash business with Kioxia. That would be a separate company. Then presumably WD would source the NAND for their SSDs from it. They are not getting out of the SSD business.
