Not bad... maybe ~10% slower with the 4060. You get the 500 nit display and 32GB ram instead.

No it wouldn't, but you can pretty much always beat laptop performance to price with a desktop. If you bump up to about $1,000 you can probably blow this laptop out of the water. But your display will probably be worse unless you spend a lot of money on a monitor. And of course you can't take the damn thing anywhere lol.

This is a great deal, personally it depends on whether or not you want the really bright screen as to whether this deal or the 4070 with the 300 nit screen is better. I don't think 99% of users will be unhappy with either. The Lenovo legion pro line is just such a good laptop. Very no compromise builds

Other than the screen the main thing you give up here is battery life. The AMD legion pro has dramatically better battery life. And less issues with heat even when on power cord
