All of the people who are b*tthurt at fenders prices need to move on. Get a Monoprice cables guitar or something.
Fender owns most big brands but such is business. I would save up and support a local luthier and there is nothing wrong about Monoprice (Think about a kid who has the talent but the parents can't even get him/her food). Monoprice gives me the opportunity to soup up those to a level where they can reach the intermediate status and I am not out of pocket much.
There is a facet to each side. None of us is wrong/right. As creative people we should embrace the gray a lot more than the black and white.
