    reminder that amazon coffee is very old and freshness does matter for higher quality coffee, so taste-wise YMMV

    I wandered into Walmart a few days ago, and they had a bunch of coffee and coffee pods on clearance, including 12 oz bags of Stumptown beans for only $3.75! Extreme YMMV.

    I've been buying Tim Hortons whole bean coffee, medium roast and 12oz. the past three months and it's very tasty and $5.99 at Amazon. Good everyday coffee at half the price of my favorite: Peets Major Dickason.

    I'm not sure why people are hating on Stumptown. I think this a a pretty good price considering that most grocery stores are selling 12oz bags for about $15 these days. Stumptown has always been a solid, consistent coffee, especially if you love light roast coffees.

    Very very good coffee, but I would never buy it from Amazon. Who knows how old it is.

    Edit: stumptown is great, I haven't had this blend though - doesn't sound appealing to me.

    where is everyone buying their coffee? I buy mine from a local coffee shop but it is MUCH more expensive. I'll give this a shot and hope for the best. it's a cheap price so why not

    Yeah, I guess. I have family that lives out in Amish country so that Gerhart coffee thread caught my eye. And I like supporting a small business from there. It's still a very fair price even without a discount. I'm a little bit of a coffee snob and the light roast Ethiopian is extremely good IMO. Decaf Honduras was good too, sometimes I'll blend that in if I brew a cup later in the day. There was a bag or two I thought was just ok but overall I think it's pretty good and a great bang for the buck.

    Same here, I went from 100% Hawaiian whole beans I got from Oahu Costco to this Cameron's Coffee Organic Scandinavian Blend Whole Bean and it was night and day awful. Going to use it for cold brew while I look for something else.
