    I use it to remove sweat stains on white clothes. Mix it with water per instructions and soak clothes for 5-6hs and then throw them in the washing machine. I've gotten really old sweat stains out this way (not sure how well it works for other types of stains)

    Yes. It's not instant. Takes some time. Follow up with a low pressure sidewalk cleaner. Than it's just a matter of wetting it down whenever you see some mold or mildew.

    Unbearable chemical smell that carries on with the clothes for DAYS. Returned ours (Target purch). The irony in removing smells is that it creates WORSE ones. Works really well though at removing the stains (think sweat stains in athletic wear).

    Do y'all think this removes old fabric softener smell? All the relevant reviews are just about needing to use less scented products to 'cover up' smells that have now been removed. The smell I want to remove IS fabric softener.

    Then stop using fabric softener and wash them til the smell is gone. You should probably use an unscented product if you don't want a scent.
