Just leaving this comment here for the benefit of others - This is the Edge (Mediatek processor) and not the Edge + with the Snapdragon processor.

Call 833-428-1765 for Costco TMobile and you don't even have to go to the store at all. I did this deal on Sunday.

Do you believe someone who has never used this phone yet (who may just placed the order in the past few days) or someone who is using this phone since the last January deal?

BTW: do you really believe someone saying "Visual voicemail never works on any of the stock ROMs"?
He said he had gotten it. See his previous post:

I gotta tell you that the edge 2022 is a terrific device. After fully charged, I have used 18 hr for a whopping 5 hr screen on time and consumed only 41% battery. Incredible!

I have to find a way to get rid of the gesture pill as it's annoying as hell. I know how to get rid of it with root but since the device is locked, I am stuck for now. Will have to ping TForce to get it unlocked this week.

Well I don't know the other guy. I am familiar with Google phone posts. That poster has never provided bad information that I can remember. Usually pretty solid info

It doesn't mean he has actually tried the visual voicemail on t-mobile.

The built-in visual voicemail of this phone does work on t-mobile.
There is a bug though: the visual voicemail may stop remaining connected after a few days and a reboot will make it connect again.

Well he said he was amazed by the great battery life, so I assumed he had used it. Thanks Desi for replying as well.

Edit: Thanks for mentioning the voicemail bug, that is concerning as was thinking about getting this for my Mom and she won't be happy if she misses voicemails.

The built in visual voicemail tab inside the phone app works with t-mobile on this phone.
Well, it doesn't work on two Edge 2022. I guess you got lucky or I am the misfortune one Wink

Try a reboot or two and wait a few minutes after reboot to see if the visual voicemail auto connects.

Visual voicemail has always been working on t-mobile network for all the pixel phones, recent samsung/motorola/oneplus phones, at least for those sold by t-mobile.
Bud, I have two Edge 2022 and have been using it since yesterday. Visual voicmail doesn't work for me! I have used S21+, Xiaomi 11T Pro, OnePlus 8T/7, etc. and none of them are sold by T-Mobile and maybe, that's the reason it doesn't work.

I never buy T-Mobile packaged ROMs as they are super sloooooow to update it. I guess this is a free phone and they are paying you about $35 to have the phone and that's why I went against my wishes and snagged 3! lol

Initially, it looked like it worked as there was no error on the Voicemal tab. After the reboot, it errored out. Since I always custom ROMs on my other phones, it never worked. And, that's why I disabled the visual voicemail option. Anyways, it's not a big deal as I can call voicemail if I have one!

I traded a Nokia 6030 from singular just yesterday and it worked. As long as you have an IMEI number it'll work in store

Costco TMobile kiosk. They waive the DCC fee and give you a $75 shop card for upgrading. If you don't care for those then you can probably get the phone same day at a TMobile brick and mortar

I've been using for 2 days. Voicemail does work on the bottom right corner just like the iphone. I do not need to use a separate tmobile voicemail app.

I cleared phone app data and now, the visual voicemail is working. Maybe there's a bug that it works for sometime and stops working after a while. Right now, I did another reboot and it's still working. Go figure!
