BTW: do you really believe someone saying "Visual voicemail never works on any of the stock ROMs"?
I have to find a way to get rid of the gesture pill as it's annoying as hell. I know how to get rid of it with root but since the device is locked, I am stuck for now. Will have to ping TForce to get it unlocked this week.
The built-in visual voicemail of this phone does work on t-mobile.
There is a bug though: the visual voicemail may stop remaining connected after a few days and a reboot will make it connect again.
Edit: Thanks for mentioning the voicemail bug, that is concerning as was thinking about getting this for my Mom and she won't be happy if she misses voicemails.
The built in visual voicemail tab inside the phone app works with t-mobile on this phone.

Visual voicemail has always been working on t-mobile network for all the pixel phones, recent samsung/motorola/oneplus phones, at least for those sold by t-mobile.
I never buy T-Mobile packaged ROMs as they are super sloooooow to update it. I guess this is a free phone and they are paying you about $35 to have the phone and that's why I went against my wishes and snagged 3! lol
