Edit: Thanks for mentioning the voicemail bug, that is concerning as was thinking about getting this for my Mom and she won't be happy if she misses voicemails.
Do people still do that? Voicemail? Why bother. When texting is so common now

With tmo via Twitter, you may be charged activation fee, but sometimes you can get it waived or credit back if asked nicely.
People like to do this deal via Costco store is because of the $75 shop card for each line

Anyone know why some trade ins won't work over the phone? Could it be that the imei was never on Tmob and locked to a different carrier?
My only old tradein junk phone is a Nokia 635 windows phones that was an att prepaid which I used for only a month or so. I'm trying to figure out the best way to use that phone for this deal.

Myself tried 4 times and the reps were not helpful but in costco store only took 10 mins for doing 2 lines yesterday and today the promo and credit show up correctly under my account
Fee will be waived for sure via Costco store and via calling in, when doing it in the store yesterday, I saw there's option in the system they could pick to waive the fee...I'm sure it'll be the same by calling.
For the $75 shop card, everyone can only wait and see as it's all by saying and no actual doc showing after done the deal.
You can keep ask questions but it's the best just calling and try it yourself
