Very unlikely your laptop screen is display input capable. You'd have to use this computer standalone in addition to the laptop and RDP into it or something. You'd be better off just buying a nicer portable monitor also if that was your planned setup.

I cant wait for the 6000 series stuff to get to these price points cause the iGPU on those are crazy powerful for their efficiency. MiniPCs are getting super good value.

Just bought the Beelink SER5 Plus for $299. Same specs. Dealt with Beelink already as I bought several of these for all my employees. Best part is that Windows 11 Pro comes vanilla. NO BLOATWARE at all. It's the best.

$419 - $120 coupon = $299 for a Ryzen 7 5800u, 16gb, 512gb nvme. Can't beat this. Using it to run multiple emulators like SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, PS3. They all work flawlessly.

They'll be heavier and awkward sized in combo than a laptop.... why would you want to do that?

well, I think it is ok deal. because

5800H + Ram and SSD is around $310-340ish Currently there is a Beelink[Linux](https://a.co/d/ji9Cnqr) and Trigkey[Win11](https://a.co/d/j3Szdk9) for $300

6800H + RAM and SSD is around $400-440ish this BOSGAME(https://a.co/d/hdlSQPw) is currently $400

His link goes to the Linux version...the Win11 Pro is different, $320 after coupon.

Your right about 5800H vs 5800U. The H is faster but is a higher wattage part that requires, in this case, 2 fans. The 5800U in this Ace Magic Chassis is very quiet and more energy efficient, but not quite as fast.

I have the previously on sale 5500U version of the AM06 and its Win11 is also plain vanilla with no bloatware. I have owned both brands, and see no difference in the quality of the companies or hardware. They are both fine.

at the highest settings? nope, not a chance. you need at least a dedicated GPU (RTX 3080 according to Bnet for 4k ultra setting. if running for 1080p i think 3060 is enough)

No you don't need a dedicated gpu. a 6900hx amd can run any pc game in 4k on high

It will run Diablo 4 on high settings at 1080p
The 6900hx is even better

I love the ser5 its nice it can also do switch emulation, just got the gtr6 for the 75" tv mounted by my pool.
