That's an awesome deal on the 10" + 12" set. It's a shame it doesn't come with lids, but if you need fry pans, they are a great place to start, and you could collect other pieces over time that share the same lid size (you can call or write All-Clad and they'll tell you, or you can check their website for pan diameters). Or if you really want the lid, just get the 12" with lid for $10 less [homeandcooksales.com]. You don't necessarily need 2 fry pans.

As always, check out the All-Clad Pots & Pans Advice sticky thread where I've been collecting everybody's common questions about this sale, about All-Clad and the differences between the different lines, plus the pros and cons of each and what not to buy on this sale. Your continued feedback has made it pretty robust.

Check All-Clad Warranty Contact Information on their website. That's the same address as homeandcooksales.com on their contact information. Also the email address is also from the domain of their parent company Group Seb.

I found a 10" on clearance at a boxstore and got the 12" w/ lid from a previous sale... definitely nice to have both because sometimes the 12" is too much pan for what you're doing.

I do agree with the lids, and it's really hard to recommend the 12" w/o a lid.

Sorry, but that's a "trust me bro" disclaimer if I ever saw one.

So are they just clearing out the old inventory
Not to beat a dead horse, but if you check out the All-Clad Pots & Pans Advice sticky thread as suggested above there is ample discussion about the legitimacy of this sale and the experiences of many SDers.

How does Kitchen Aid stack up against this sale? Available at Costco, SS 3 ply and 5 ply.
The link has a bunch about All-Clad vs other brands as well. Kitchen-Aid pans are OK, but not as highly regarded.

Are these ones dishwasher safe?
Also addressed above. No. The middle aluminum layers between the stainless steel exterior and interior are exposed at the edges of the pan. If you repeatedly pummel these pans with harsh dishwasher detergents, the pan will lose it's smooth edges as the middle layer gets roughened up. If you want a stainless steel clad pan that's fully sealed around the edges, you could pay a lot more for the Demeyere brand, but they recommend hand washing as well.

Do you guys think these are worth buying if I have a glass top electric stove?

I recently moved and downgraded from gas and now IDK what pans work best...

Read through the sticky, linked in post above yours. Lots of good info.

My person opinion: If induction then yes, they are worth it, if just a radiant, maybe less important.

I had a radiant GE Profile for years and had all Hard Anodized aluminum (mostly the original Commercial Cookware variant of Calphalon) and they served me well for many years.

However, recent switched to a Cafe Induction, so I had to buy new cookware. I have tried a few different brands, but the All Clad are my favorites to use as daily drivers.

Is the 12" w/ lid gone? I only see the 10" w/ lid.

Can you buy the lids for 10 and 12" separately? Is there a known alternative lid that works well?
