They are. Every time a flavored protein powder is posted, people get weird about the breakdown. Like how you can have sweetened chocolate flavors without cocoa powder or sweeteners increasing the overall mass of the total serving size. Or stuff that helps with muscle protein synthesis, blood sugar regulation, and weight loss are somehow bad if it's in protein powder. If people want straight isolate, then don't even click on posts with flavored powders, it isn't ever going to be exactly what you want. Either there's a ton of ifbb pros on SD or some people are too far in the weeds for what they're doing and where they're at. Like, adjust your pre or snacks for the thirty calorie difference somewhere throughout the day, or walk another ten whole minutes.

Repped for the good deal on isolate, but I don't love the macros.

41g scoop for 25g of isolate includes a lot of waste. Also has 4g fat and 4g carbs. I probably won't bite, but if I was in a bind I'd buy for the price.

Leucine enriched with 1G leucine. 2G fiber and 3G MCT added. No thanks.

Thought leucine fiber and MCT were good?

I'm going to give the boring answer of "a balanced diet and everything in moderation".
Someone switching from a different isolate to this would want to double check that drinking a few of these per day doesn't push their saturated fat intake higher than they want it. Potentially adjusting elsewhere in their diet if so.

Cheapest price for isolate I've seen lately.

I thought the point of isolate was to have an isolated form of protein. Kinda defeats the purpose when protein makes up < 60% of a scoop. Good deal, but bad product imo

Can anybody speak to how it tastes? If I'm buying 5lbs of it, I need it to taste ok.

I was going to get it, but the calories and saturated fat (and MCT) were too much to overlook.

I don't understand how they can label this as isolate. It's worse than most concentrates!
