This camera was a fail. It was only a few grams lighter but loses the removable battery, gps, screens, and a bunch of other features. It never should have been $400 or even $300.
The sale price on the hero11 is $300 pretty regularly with included GoPro subscription, it's a better value for most to have a screen and removable battery considering the weight is barely increased. $200 is fine, the camera was still a flop for GoPro. They need to start looking at Insta360 more closely.
Reminder the hero 11 mini saves only .8 ounces and you lose gps, the screens, removable v
Battery, no hindsight, no photo mode, no webcam mode, no stereo audio, no media mod compatibility, no setting or film mode shortcuts on screen, and you are forced to use the app for many adjustments which is slow.
Is this a good deal? Im on the fence and tired of recording with my iphone13 but at the same time i was gifted a dji 3 and dont know if gopro would be compatit

Well now it costs half as much for the same quality so it's not a fail any more

It was 199 last year via gopro with 1 year subscription. I bought it, then no regrets. Battery life gets you about an hour of record time less if you do 4k. It gets really hot because it has a heat sink outside on the back. You can strap a battery pack to it and keep recording, but then it's not waterproof if you leave the door open. No GPS and no still shots and no screen to see where you're recording but you can use the app. But it does do time lapse and you can clip stills from the videos. price matched at Amazon and other places at the moment.

See I wanted a mini with no screen but replaceable battery. I have the 10 now since my GoPro 1 finally stopped working. Going to be a few years at least before I'm back in the market. The updates are always things I don't care about.

Oh wow, didn't know about the non removable battery well that sucks! I'll wait for the full 11 to go on sale then I cancelled my order with adoroma. Surprisingly very painless process. Thanks!
Battery replacement is the main issue. Not worth it. GoPro made a camera for the junk yard. Entry level to trick people to buy. GoPro has issues with quality and the battery will degrade fast. You will gro tires of this camera. Not worth it
