Is this worth an upgrade from an X-t20? I've had it for 3 years now and enjoy using with it.

Tough to gauge the size based on numbers. Is the xt-5 smaller than the xt-3?

I have X-T20 and X-T3. Not to knock X-T20, which is an awesome camera, but even X-T3 is a worthy upgrade, compared. I imagine X-T5 is even more so, definitely on my purchase list.

The XT20 is still a great camera. The newer XT5 is brand new everything but do you really need it? I got a XT30 and ill get something new if the price is right. Ill wait till i find a good priced used model.

I would say yes if you don't need compactness. I upgraded from an xt20 to an xt3 and it was nice. However I did miss the compact size of the xt20. Image quality was almost the same, but the autofocus was better. I believe the xt5 has the newer battery so that might make it worth it plus all the other benefits.

You hit the nail as far as my light research. I think I'll miss the smaller X-t20 but I played with my friends xt3 and I noticed the pictures were sharper already.

Really depends on your usage. If your photography is fine with the body you have, maybe invest in glass. Specs wise it is a worthy upgrade.

No. You have to consider the bigger battery and IBIS in the T-5 vs the T-1.
