How easy are these to add more ram? Should I just buy one with 32gb or is it worth the price savings to put it in myself

I love my 2020 L5P. 5800H/3070. Zero problems for 2.5 years now. Added a 2TB SSD in the second bay and swapped out the RAM to 32GB CL20. If you do upgrade RAM, make sure it runs at 3200mhz 1.2V JEDEC since XMP isn't supported (stock, at least) and you won't get the listed speed.

Not a bad price but the 300-nit screen is a huge downgrade from the same models for the past two years which were 500-nits. Also the 4070 is somewhat slower in some games than the 3070 but you do get DLSS.

he says "somewhat only in some games"....I'm sure the 4070 is better in many other games. eg. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUdjiXQQxNc

The slim models are usually slower on tests and games because the slim factor makes cooling much harder, but they are more portable
