I'll never deal with them again. Responded to an offer to park a significant amount of money in Savings and open a checking at the same time. They denied my savings bonus on a technicality that frankly came down to confusing rules and refused to work with me. Unlike other banks there is no indication of whether or not you met the bonus requirements over time. Their savings rate is also abysmal.

Worst bank ever. Waited over 4 hours in total with customer service to resolve fraud issue. Went in person. Still they closed my account.

If I do an ACH transfer from fidelity brokerage (not 401k or IRA, a regular taxable brokerage account), would it be considered a direct deposit?

is there a forum or place where people keep track of which banks consider X a direct deposit?
