#2 went in the wrong direction in so many ways. Hated the endless hordes of "zombies" or whatever the heck they were. Even having my character hidden inside a metal mask instead of being able to see his face was a big minus. I just wanted to shoot and blast things in an incredible open world and that was what the first game offered. Things they added to the second game just made it more drab and way less fun.
