It usually doesn't take more than looking at one or two posts before I'm reminded of how much like Reddit 2.0 this place has become in the comments section. It's either people complaining about the deal or the wording, or how it's a terrible product and no one should buy it. Ugh.

A direct result of Slickdeals being bought by a private equity firm and the front page being loaded up with fake promoted "deals" for things being sold at regular price instead of real sales found by real users.

Seen alot of reviews saying how this set is relatively easy to put together and lots of repetitive pieces. Daughter got "Starry Night" and it's much more challenging. Seems for this set the price is pretty high for play value although this one does has a soundtrack you can listen to while you put it together. We passed on this one.

This isn't exactly for kids as a play value Lego set? It's for 18+ because it's to be hung up on the wall after you finish.

I'm tempted! But I really need to start limiting my LEGO sets. I have two still in the box I haven't put together. So I need to slow down haha. But great find!

Thats funny because reddit also recently sold out with their IPO. Unfortunately there and here don't have any solid alternatives so we're stuck with content being mostly ads. SD is turning into prime day but year round with a bunch of "sale prices" that are far from slick. At least on Amazon we have CCC or keepa to catch the bullshit
