The Champion is a counter rotating tine (they rotate back towards you).

Update: I found the answer for all four of these rear-tine tillers. ALL of them are counter-rotating. Only the Champion correctly describes having counter-rotating tines. The two Legend Force and the Yard Force have counter-rotating tines as well. Sorry if anyone was misled, but the listing didn't describe the tine action and I ended up finding in the Questions & Answers for each of them. It's not the end of the world as even Troy-Bilts lower models have counter-rotating tines, but I wish the manufacturers were more clear about it.

Great price but showing OOS for me. Perhaps zip code related? Trying central NC zip codes myself.

Anyone have a different zip which is working?

Same here, OOS now. I would keep checking the website. They all went out of stock and magically came back in stock again.

This is true, unless the counter went to zero. I lost track so not sure how close it was getting. The Yard Force is down to 600 something so if you're considering that one, don't wait long.

FYI just finally came back for me/ordered. Says they have 2500 but its hard to tell what they are doing since ALL of them are going in and out and say they have thousands. Maybe they are trying to managed shipping volume lol. The champion said 7K when it went back "out of stock".

The Champion is a counter rotating tine (they rotate back towards you), Legend Force forward tines. https://www.mowersdirect.com/stor...iller.html The Legend Force has different speeds and can freewheel from what I understand. If I were breaking new soil I'd probably go with the Legend Force.
The legend is counter rotating

Ignoring $20 difference, this or the champion? This seems to have forward and reverse (and a neutral/freewheel?) but champion has more reviews and might have easier to find replacement parts ?

It's also heavier and has a gearbox.

You missed 1 then. There were 5 of them. I practically did the same thing. You will almost for sure get them all so what's your plan after that?

Got mine today. This thing weighs a ton! I had a hard time getting into the garage. I pretty much dragged it into the garage. 🥵 I have an opened the box yet.

Getting all of them is slick! I think it would also be interesting to get several of the same model since the parts would almost certainly be interchangeable.
