Used the Educ discount on a few accounts with different email providers, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail.

It looks not as much as a glitch but as something intentional for the order/sale to go through. - If your birthday is in August and you had it saved in your Samsung profile, you should have gotten or will get an e-mail with an extra $25 off discount which can stack with the above codes

They're offering a $1k trade in for the 13 pro max so I went ahead and preordered it.
With the 15% off student deal it came out to around $700.
Worse case scenario if you don't like it you can easily sell the fold 5 for 700-800 and use that money towards the 15 pro when it comes out later
It looks like Samsung's trade-in deals are also being co-ordinated with the Phone companies like Xfinity, Verizon, and Bestbuy etc. so do all of these last about the same time?
I'm trying to see if I should get one first, and then based on my experience, get another for family. If this deal won't last that long I might have to take my chances with ordering two same time.

- less RAM (8GB Flip vs 12GB Ultra); can really tell the difference if you do lots of multitasking on your phone
- lesser camera, no Zoom on Flip
- smaller Flip battery = less battery life on Flip (this was the biggest reason I went back to Ultra)
- after using the Ultra, the Flip's screen felt just too narrow
- slower charging on the Flip
The novelty of the Flip is cool but after that wears off, I realized the Ultra was really the far superior phone in every way for my use. Yes, this was for the Flip 4, but I think all these things still hold true for the Flip 5. The Flip certainly has its share of advantages in terms of a newer processor and being more compact, but none of those for me outweighed the compromises listed above I felt I was making by going with the Flip.
