- Get additional $50 off using this pre-order code
- Ask Samsung Chat for a $50 discount code (a unique code that could stack with the pre-order reserve code but seems to have trouble stacking for some people).
- Get additional discounts for education, government, military, business, first responders employees without actually being one by going through Google or just clicking on one of the categories (they don't verify but give you the discount)
Same here not just this time but for the past several years.
Never verified an Educ ID, or asked to.
Used the Educ discount on a few accounts with different email providers, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail.
Sometimes the Educ discount will not appear but it appeared after adding a phone to the cart, like the Flip 5 this time, and others in the past.
Sometimes there'll be a drop down with boxes to check the appropriate discount, Educ, Military, etc., but most times the Educ discount will appear.
Sometimes it helps to click on the bottom of the page on the offers links:

Samsung Rewards
Referral Program
Student & Education Offer Program
It looks not as much as a glitch but as something intentional for the order/sale to go through. - If your birthday is in August and you had it saved in your Samsung profile, you should have gotten or will get an e-mail with an extra $25 off discount which can stack with the above codes
- Add the Samsung Watch 6 separately into the cart and not as a bundle with the phone to get an extra fabric band for free.

My first foldable. Going with the z fold from the S22 Ultra. The trade in values kept me from upgrading to the s23 ultra. I'm worried about losing the s pen support. Not sure if I can handle a thick case that allows the s-pen, but we'll see. Also not thrilled about the slower charging speed, but I will admit the battery life on the s22 ultra was pretty crappy. After first responder, $50 cert and adding the buds pro 2 , I walked out with a $724 subtotal
I do not see the incremental improvements in the Fold 5 to be worth a replacement for >$500, but <$50 for the Flip 5 upgrade (basically the better external screen) seems like a no brainer.

I got in an email from Jan and had a title "thank you gift for first 100 days"
Personally, I didn't buy this but instead traded in my S22 ultra for S23 ultra for total for $249.99
And BBY includes $100 GC
Worth checking in case..

Then got the Z Flip 4 for $100 (https://slickdeals.net/f/15968395-pre-order-samsung-galaxy-z-fold-4-or-z-flip-4-trade-in-offer-up-to-900-off-memory-upgrade?src=Sit
Then now the Z Flip 5 for $50.
I was able to sell my S21 at the time for like $180, so wasn't much out of pocket for a 2 generation newer phone at the time. Good luck with your decision.
