It looks not as much as a glitch but as something intentional for the order/sale to go through. - If your birthday is in August and you had it saved in your Samsung profile, you should have gotten or will get an e-mail with an extra $25 off discount which can stack with the above codes

The Fold will obviously be thicker folded and will have a smaller screen for single handed use. The other main difference seems to be the Folds have a slightly downgraded camera than the S22/23 Ultra lineup, but other than that it will still have the newer processor / gpu so that will remain an upgrade.
The final change of course is if you see yourself enjoying the change of form factor and what you might use the smaller screen or the larger inner screens for. I'd definitely give that some thought before pulling the trigger.
