Flip4 trade in is $900, looks like those who got the free upgrade from the 3 to the 4 are about to get another one.

This tip times 100! I never had an issue with trade-ins until last year. Luckily I've always made sure to do a 2-3 minute recording every time before trading in, going over the clbody of the device and powering it on to show its factory reset state + screen condition. Do your due diligence folks!
+1 same thing happened to me twice

The only thing they do during testing is power on the phone, make sure it charges normally, holds a charge, and the screen is fully functional. There isn't any elaborate testing that is done. So more than likely, your friend new the screen was faulty and tried to slide it in.
Thanks for responding. well that's what he told me . And he said it's possible it was on the verge og getting messed up and just happen over there.

But anyways. My question is now if they reject your trade-in, can you back out completely and get full refund by sending the new phone back and getting your old phone returned by samsung?

I realized that Samsung has charged my card during the order, and the full order amount has already posted. Typically, they charge the card once the product ships. So, this is unusal.

Also, for me, trade in ship date is 8/14. Which means the grace period started from the time of the order. Which is also asinine sine we won't get the phone until 8/11.

Anyone having the same experience?

- I don't have a qualifying spare phone to upgrade. My A50 4G is likely get me $200 trade in value. I looked on eBay and did not find anything
- No wiki page. When am I expected to ship the trade in phone? Will I get a shipping label?
- any idea to get substantial trade in value - perhaps buy one on eBay - which one?

1. Cheap trade in phones have all been snatched up
2. When Samsung tells you to - they will send you an email with shipping label
3. See #1

They might have fixed it. Keep trying . It works sometimes.
i got the trade in to stick with the watch but it removes the bundle discount for ordering a flip/fold5, so its a much worse deal

Trade in sticks:
Watch5 classic price: $180 and I have to trade in my watch 4

Removing trade in:
Watch5 classic price: $135 and I don't have to trade in anything.

Ill sell my watch4 on the side, likely making the watch5 free

Got a quick question. No one seems to be getting Samsung Care+. Why is that? I assume it's more preferable to get it since folding and bending of the screen

That is better and I assume you meant watch 6 classic.
Do not upgrade from watch 4 to 5. watch 4 to 6 is fine.

This poster works for Samsung.
Straight forward stacking does not work, it used to.
BUT,
It was working yesterday for many here, but must be done in a certain order.
Read the last dozen pages here or more for tips.

Oddly, I was trying to get a new code to test out. Rep created me a cart and I was able to stack the generic code by applying it first to a watch I had in my cart, so yes stacking is still working but YMMV since it's inconsistent. The rep link took over the cart and had all the items in it (flip5, buds 2 pro, watch 6). Only thing missing was the extra band in the rep created cart.

I opted for cracked screen trade in. Will Samsung accept screen with LCD issue? Z flip 5 got run over by a car. Outer screen works but inner screen has full LCD black spots and flickering. No crack though. Can't open full straight too. Spoke with chat associate prior to ordering and he said go on n trade it. Still worried. Have a screen shot for proof though. Anyone tried in the past?

I can't speak for everyone else but for me, but I'm willing to take the risk because if Samsung continues to offer these insane trade-in values for the Flip I'll just pay the 100 or less (only paid $50 this time) to upgrade each year vs paying the amount it would take to protect it. I'm pretty careful with my phones and I feel like within a year I should like be ok without the screen cracking, especially since they've added the new shock dispersion layer for some more durability. I mean the Flip 4 I bought from someone for trade-in has lasted a year so I'll probably be alright.

As for everyone else, I feel like people here just wanna save money and not pay more (we are on Slickdeals after all lmao)
