Flip4 trade in is $900, looks like those who got the free upgrade from the 3 to the 4 are about to get another one.

Pixel Fold is a better android experience and form factor. I've had both and owned many pixels and flips/folds, will never go back to a Samsung again. Just a little "subjective" feedback, play with both before you throw down $800-1800 after a trade in.
Pixel Fold was way too expensive to try even after trade-in. Google should have thrown best discounts on their first version to pull the crowd to try.

What's your Samsung order status. I'm guessing those who are still in "pre-order" are being updated to $0 and those orders that are "in progress" or shipped have correct cash back showing

Think that's what happened to me. Wrote an email to support so hope it helps. At this point, I don't really care for the CB, just wanted my items on time. 😞

When you do a trade in and use a cashback site as well, do you only get the 12% cashback from the $999.99 price or the price you pay after trade -in?

Holding onto my S21 Ultra for when the S24 drops... So tempted by the larger screen for media/games but I can't downgrade to a more fragile phone

No, it's a T-Mobile trade-in. Samsung doesn't handle T-Mobile EIP trade in offers. Same with best buy, if you have an EIP offer from T-Mobile doesn't matter where you buy, you send the trade-in to T-Mobile.
Were you able to use Paypal as method of payment? It didnt show Paypal available when I tried to utilize Tmobile promo and pay downpayment in "almost" full to get the cashback.

I ordered the z fold 5, watch 6 classic, and Buds2 Pro for $1306.89. The Buds2 Pro have a status of "shipment in process" while everything else is "in process".
However, I see a settled transaction on my credit card of $1125.78.
Anybody else experience this? I assume the charge will correct itself eventually?

VZ trade in offer is better than samsung. They're offering $1000 for a 2019 note 10+. Samsung is only giving $300 for it.
I am seeing the same thing on my old S20 FE. Samsung is only offering me $400 (which is pretty good!) but Verizon is offering me $800. The phone only has a street value of about $200. The only catch is that they pay you in bill credits, spread out over 36 months. But if you are like me, and plan to stay with them anyway, then it's no big deal (I have been with them 20 years)

Ok, but why would one prefer to get the trade-in value over time in monthly bill credit installments, probably over 24 months, instead of instantly?
And IF one leaves T-Mo early before the 24 months, he'll be liable for the remaining trade-in value?
And pay the sales tax on the pre-credit price at time of purchase???
With the instant credit, tax is only on the after trade-in price in almost all states except CA and maybe a couple more.
One can get the phone unlocked to be used with any carrier, instead of getting a carrier locked phone and then wait for the unlock.
It doesn't make much sense.
Is it because of better trade-in values for some phones?
But theFlip4 traded-in has about the same value $1000, but with tax on that vs. $900 and tax only on about $49.

So i ordered flip 5 with flip 4 trade in and my expected delivery date is Aug 11. However, the trade in device ship by date is Aug 12 (it shows up in order history). Why only one day grace period? What if incoming shipment gets late? I need flip 5 with me before I can ship flip 4 to them as that is my working device. Has anyone else experienced this?

Not sure about the trade-in credits towards device installments but the free carrier promos are sometimes a good starting point like they have been for me.

I initially got the flip 3 128gb FREE from verizon over 24 months (I am on my last month installment for it this billing cycle) and I turned around and traded that in for the flip 4 256gb, which came with a bunch of discounts and freebies from samsung. And now I am trading that in for the flip5 - 512 gb for practically free as well after its all said and done.

Also, my s21 was free from at&t over 36 months, which was traded in to bestbuy for the money maker s22+ with a $200 bby gc. If a good trade-in deal for the s23+ comes around, then I'd probably trade it in, otherwise, I might just hold off for the s24+.

Basically been getting close to free flagships throughout the years because of the carrier deals paired with bestbuy & samsung offers plus freebies, discounts and cash back.

Just ignore the displayed date for now. Samsung is aware and will correct it afterwards. You usually have 14 days after receiving your new device to send in your trade-in. If need be, you can even request an extension for, I believe, an additional 7-14 days should you require it.
