- Get additional $50 off using this pre-order code
- Ask Samsung Chat for a $50 discount code (a unique code that could stack with the pre-order reserve code but seems to have trouble stacking for some people).
- Get additional discounts for education, government, military, business, first responders employees without actually being one by going through Google or just clicking on one of the categories (they don't verify but give you the discount)
Same here not just this time but for the past several years.
Never verified an Educ ID, or asked to.
Used the Educ discount on a few accounts with different email providers, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail.
Sometimes the Educ discount will not appear but it appeared after adding a phone to the cart, like the Flip 5 this time, and others in the past.
Sometimes there'll be a drop down with boxes to check the appropriate discount, Educ, Military, etc., but most times the Educ discount will appear.
Sometimes it helps to click on the bottom of the page on the offers links:

Samsung Rewards
Referral Program
Student & Education Offer Program
It looks not as much as a glitch but as something intentional for the order/sale to go through. - If your birthday is in August and you had it saved in your Samsung profile, you should have gotten or will get an e-mail with an extra $25 off discount which can stack with the above codes
- Add the Samsung Watch 6 separately into the cart and not as a bundle with the phone to get an extra fabric band for free.

I also wasn't sure (and still am not) as to the color of the phone I should have chosen, so I'll probably be 2nd-guessing that one for a while. I chose Icy Blue since it's a stock color (so maybe a better chance of them having replacement parts in stock if I should ever get a cracked screen - but probably not as good as black) and because I liked the case w/S-pen color combo better than the cream or black versions.
Similarly for the watch, I had a tough time deciding on the band color. FWIW, I went with the non-Classic model because the bezel seems a bit unnecessary/gimmicky (I'd just as soon swipe to do the same things) and the raised bezel seems like it would make swiping harder / less accurate. I also didn't care for the numbers they "baked in" to the inside of the bezel, since I usually sport a minimalistic data-focused face, and just use classic/retro-style watch faces w/minute/second hands when I want to look a little classier (rare occasions), and it seems like those baked-in numbers will clash with my usual faces. Saving some $$$ by not getting the Classic was just a bonus for me. FWIW, I currently have a Skagen Falster Gen 6, and still like the style of that better than anything else, but it feels a little pokey and battery life is suboptimal, so for about $150, I figured why not get the Samsung Watch, too.
The other thing I was still hemming and hawing about was whether to finance it through T-Mobile but, again, I was thinking I'd lose out on the 12% and 9% CB if I did that.
Lastly, I still feel like the Google Pixel Fold might be the foldable phone I *really* want (I think I might prefer the form factor, and I like the clean Android UI and Google Camera), but I'm worried that screen cracking might be more common (though we'll have to see how that plays out once it's been out in general consumption a few more months) and I'm intrigued by DEX and the XReal AR glasses, neither of which the Pixel supports.
Which one do you think will get a better trade-in value toward S24 Ultra from Samsung. I'm debating whether or not to trade my S22 Ultra for Flip 5 now and trade Flip 5 for S24 Ultra later. Or keep S22 Ultra and wait for S24 Ultra 🤔.
