I am using Red Pocket and signed 1 year plan. Their service is terrible. Very poor IT system and customer support.

I've been using them nearly five years now. Support has been helpful -- most of the time. Sometimes you get someone who has no idea what they're doing but that is typical of any company.

The CDMA service is sometimes unusably slow if there is high volume since you're at the back of the line for access to towers. So I run into that when I go to the local major shopping area on the weekends (live in a small town). But service is otherwise unremarkable.

Got $120 5GB plan instead. Experience has been pretty good for me. Esim activation/porting wasnt smooth and had to resolve it by the chat. Only took 1-20 minutes for them to resolve everything. Service is much faster than I expected and i wish I switched sooner.

That's how it's supposed to work but, anecdotally, not reliably. 50-50 you'll have to call CS to fill, if they do. It's a roll of the dice. Maybe do it via chat? Myself, I don't do it. I buy within 90 days of renewal date and manually apply a day or two before renewal date.

I agree, and it's what I always *used to do* in the past-

But since last year's BF was a bust ($30 higher) I decided this year to use the "stack" method.

Hopefully it won't be a hassle when I apply the pin in 2½ months.

The ebay plan can also be used for renewal/existing customers.

Red pocket website reduced price plans are for new customers only.

If you are a new customer, better go with the hoghly discounted plans for 1st year available on their website.

Correct. Existing customers cannot get the 5Gb plan for $120. Have to pay usual price of $180 or wait for a different deal

If someone uses GSMT and gets a new GSMT then we could stack right even if it is beyond 90 days via chat?

My previous plan for 8 GB GSMT was $240 during BF2022. Hoping to get a 10 GB plan now for $199 assuming we can stack (beyond 90 days).
