my kids didn't really like this but gave it to a friend and theirs loved it. all this sort of baby stuff is hit or miss but if it hits it's worth it's weight in gold
I have the newer vision with an LED screen. This is not a good product: 1) the swing mechanism failed in 3 mo (you can hear loud noise of springs pulling), 2) my child didn't like the sideway swing (many YT reviews had the same problem).
This could be a good deal, but may likely not be the choice for you.
Don't buy anything from this website. The sell returns to stores like Target and won't check to ensure the correct model or condition of the item. Not even to speak of used car seats

I can't speak to the seller, but yeah this product and most baby things are hit or miss. My kiddo liked a design like this well enough for awhile - definitely helped. And no problem passing this along to someone else to use with their soon to be born kiddo.
Also, regarding the comments on sleep… come on. The notion of not putting your baby ever in/on something where they shouldn't sleep for an extended period is ridiculous. You realize newborns shouldn't sleep much in car seats, either, right? Guess you'd best find an extended stay hotel in walking distance from wherever you deliver…
Don't buy any of these kinds of products. Electric or not. Your baby will eventually fall asleep on it and who wants to wake a sleeping baby... Baby needs to sleep on a flat, firm-ish surface. Things like this will just make your life harder in the future when they will outgrow it. More importantly, if baby manges to turn around in this, they can suffocate. Similar shaped products have already been recalled after numerous deaths. Invest in a quality mattress and keep it uncluttered. We bought a Newton breathable crib mattress and it's amazing. I wish they made it for adults. Its pricey. But is completely washable and will last multiple kids.
These are some awfully broad and judgmental statements. I used a mamaroo (not this product, but one made by the same company that has a wider variety of motions) with my kid, and it was immensely helpful. There's nothing inherently wrong with this or similar products, as long as you're using them responsibly (i.e. you're supervising your child the entire time). Just because it didn't work for you doesn't mean it won't work for anyone else.

My kid sleeps on this, his newton bed, my bed, on me, on the couch. Not sure why you would say this will make it harder for you in the future? Thanks for sharing your opinion but if you don't own this product then you shouldn't go off and tell others how to rear their children
The old model did, the restraint system on the older models did not get tight enough and kids could wiggle off. They had a recall but did provide an accessory to keep the harness tight. Newer models do not have this defect

That's not correct, the recall was due to toddlers who could crawl may crawl under the seat and if there was no baby in the seat the straps could present a chance of strangulation. The fix was a piece of velcro to keep the straps tight when not in use so a kid can't stick their head between the seat and the base. The company gives these velcro straps out for free if you call them. There is and was never an issue of a baby falling out.
I used this for my baby for about 2-3 months. In the beginning she was immensely amused by the movements and sounds, but the novelty didn't last long. Sometimes she would fall asleep on it, sometimes she won't; either way we didnt find it affecting her nap/sleep habits whatsoever.
IF you don't mind second hand, there are a ton of these on my local FB Market and OfferUp, most of them are just like mine; gently used a few months before the baby out grew it. Give the fabric pieces a wash and it should be like new.
