I've been banking with them for nearly 5 years. No major problems. My only issue is that their phone app is severely limited & kind of sucks. Other than that, if you send money, it arrives quickly & interest rates automatically raise without having to contact them. They seem to stay pretty competitive when it comes to the highest interest rate. I really like them & trust them with my money.

UPDATE: As of 06 NOV 23, the app on Android has been updated and reflects a top tier online banking experience. Very happy with the improvements that have been made.

You have more issues than just missing out on $10k!

Have been banking with them for many years. No issues, fast transfers, can manage everything online including closing accounts. Only negative is that their phone support sucks since they encourage online banking only, and they keep adding new account types with higher rates, and you have to open an account and transfer money to new account (which is pretty painless and done within minutes online)

Never had a problem with CIT during last 8 or 9 months. They really do offer almost the best APR. But I found one that is offering 5.5% now so I am in the process of moving the funds there. Did a small transfer first and so far no problem.

Ivy bank is offering better rate 5.30 plus they will not resuce it till june end

I have had zero problems with their website since I have been with them (~1 year), but I have only been able to login on the app, literally, one time. Using Chrome on the desktop FWIW.

It WAS Mill (sub of Bank of Omaha). About 10 days after I transferred money over, the rate went down to 4.75 so I moved it back out to CIT. It's time to capture anything above 5% CD as far out as possible because the fed will cut rates sometime this year.

I opened a saving account and transferred my money at the same time. It took like 10 days before I saw my money in this account, although my money was shown as transferred immediately from my bank. I was kind of scared after 5 days that I might have been scammed, so I called CIT Bank to verify if they had received the fund.
This seems odd for the electronic transfer between major US banks, which I had never experienced before.

Did you purchase secondary market bonds through Fidelity?

My experience as well. It will take less time when you transfer again, but could be 3-5 business days to see your money.
