I bought this on prime day for the same price, so it is a good price. This is the wired version, which needs a base to install to and probably an electrician unless you have experience or are replacing something else.

Wired version was released in January 2023, there is no other wired version. It has 2600 lumens of light vs 700 lumens for the wireless attachment. Also a wider field of view and much easier than to change batteries every 4 months for the wireless floodlight.

It has a siren which I can turn on and off from the app or Alexa, as well as the ability to turn on the lights. Recommended purchase if you can find a way to install it.

Home Depot has it too: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Blink.../323288444

Not sure why it's listed as Gen 1 though since this is the only one available and there's no documentation indicating a Gen 2 is coming out.

What firmware number did they downgrade you to? Thanks.
I just went through this exact situation and I was downgraded to 14.19 which has been much more stable thankfully.

Thanks, got downgraded to 14.19 yesterday and all good so far, hasn't disconnected yet. Will give it a week to see how it goes before deciding to keep it or not.

I made the call to Blink support to downgrade the firmware. Fairly easy but took them about an hour. I work from home so I just worked through the call. Hopefully the freezing is resolved. It's working fine now, but too early to know. Thanks for the tips on this. Grabbing a ladder to reset so often was pissing me off.

yes hopefully it fixes the issue. FYI, If you have it on a light switch, you can just turn it off and on with that to reset it, no need to press the button.

This is going to sound so dumb. I realized that while on the phone with them. It's what I did with a broom stick while holding the reset button when we performed the factory reset. 23 years in this house and I've never once touched that switch until today.

Bought 2 of these cameras, doorbell and sync module 2 a couple months ago from Best Buy, $20 more on sale everywhere at that time. Did read around Prime Day that Bling was updating their camera line/system very soon so assume that's the current price drop.
Like them, however the people mentioning the random disconnect...we had NO issues until we upgraded our old Netgear router to an Asus. Then all cameras, module randomly just disconnected, though hasn't happened in about 2 weeks. We upgraded the router because our internet was randomly dropping. Due to the age of the router, we replaced and no internet drops since. The cameras/module are the only devices dropping connection with the new router, but again, seems the problem has ceased.
If I have a complaint about the cameras, it's the motion sensitivity range only being around 25 feet, though many systems were similar.

I wouldnt recommend this over the Ring products. My Blink looses its wifi connection constantly. Yet my 2 Rings never do. And they share the same connection. The Blink comes right back on after you disconnect and reconnect power but it defeats the purpose of me having one to keep an eye on things while away. Also, keep in mind that the video history after 30 days comes with a fee unless you buy the synch module. The synch module is fine otherwise, unless it is the source of the problems! Hmmm

Mine goes unresponsive every other day. Wi-Fi connection is not the problem. My Eero is 3 feet directly above it on the inside of the house. The Eero app shows strong connection. It just simply stops responding. The lights won't even go on. I hit the reset button and it immediately works again. No response from Blink support on this. Every other blink camera I own works great. It's absolutely frustrating.
have the same problem, every few days the camera goes offline. power cycling resets it immediately but a few days later, back to the same crap. customer support said a downgrade on firmware would help resolve but it didnt.
