Been using it for 3 or 4 years. They use T-Mobile's network. Check the website for coverage. It's great imo. There are even places where my partner doesn't have coverage on Verizon but I do.

I'm confused by the downvotes. I believe $15/month is the lowest pricing on Mint Mobile. So a bonus $10 gift card for shopping Target is a slickdeal.

I've been with Mint Mobile for two years with two lines. I got the SIM cards at Target.

Coverage and service has been fine. Where it's lacking, T-Mobile and at&t is also lacking. Support is minimal, but overall not a problem.

I want to get another line for my teenager. So this looks like a good deal. Putting it on my Target card should also give me another 5% off.

There are two things that make this a worse deal than buying directly from Mint. This is only 5GB; right now, you can get 20GB or 40GB for $15/month directly from Mint. And when you buy from Mint, you can use a referral link to get $15 towards your next renewal. The obvious downside with buying from Mint is the high fees they tack on.

Just moved to the area where I have almost zero coverage with my current provider, Straight Talk (Verizon) so I am trying out Mint because it is on the T-Mobile/AT&T network, which is supposed to be better around here. Signed up for the $45 Unlimited 3 month trial that came to a $53.37. Sim card will be here in 2-3 days and we will see.

Note: Be careful with the Mint Mobile website. The checkout process is clunky and loads slow when you click the button. It's easy to double charge yourself by placing two orders. Ask me how I know. At least Mint only processed one of the orders and I should have the money back in a day or two.

Thank you. My wife and I use around 2GB a month and were hoping to encourage our teenager to also keep data usage low. Thus my seeing this as a straightforward Sleakdeal to add a third line for a $10 discount. I ended up getting a Boost Mobile three months for $15 to get started. When that is done, if it is cheaper to switch to Mint, I'll take advantage of the Slickdeal with positive feedback. :-)
