One feature this model is missing is a barometric altimeter, which means that elevation data is at best inaccurate. Likely not a problem for many people (especially as Garmin can 'correct' the elevation data afterwards), but it can be for some activates.

that said, if you primary use is offline mp3 when you doing regular fitness (by regular i mean typical fitness that almost all brand supports), Garmin definitely shouldn't be your top choice. their bluetooth connectivity and easy to use is no where close to apple or Samsung, or may others.
