this has 0 reviews its new 2023 model they just combine all other monitors on page into 1 review which is misleading.

Click Reviews all formats and "Show only reviews for Size 27-inch 180Hz shows 0 reviews for this monitor since its new model.
Comes up as 250 nits for the 2023 model according to display specs:

I'm pretty sure this review was for the XV272U, which is a different monitor. Also, the brightness issue was eventually fixed with a firmware update.

From an amazon review, if you were wondering the NITS. Bummer .

"The crucial defect which made me return this monitor is the brightness issue. The brightness should be 350 nits and the peak brightness should be over 400 nits. Whereas comparing to my 300 nits laptop, this monitor is way dimmer. It is even dimmer than my old monitor with only 250 nits brightness. all the pictures looks darker and reddish. After did some research, heard from reddit and some forums' reviews, Acer locked the brightness to 200 nits and you can only adjust it by manually calibrate the PWM in factory mod"

I didn't have this monitor, but another one on the sales page (XV272U Vbmiiprx) I got on Prime Day, and it was so dim and the colors were so ugly grey/yellow I had to return it

My other budget 1440p monitor that I purchased 3+ years ago had vastly better brightness and colors

I had the opposite experience and find mine way brighter and crisper than my old LG. I did search rtings for their icm and install that which made a tremendous difference though

I missed it on Prime Day. Holding out for that pricing again. Might not see it until Black Friday / cyber Monday 😢

Thanks for this. Looking for a 27" 1440p monitor to use in a bright office environment and it sounds like this isn't the one.

Ive had this monitor as my main gaming one for around 4 years now and have had no issues. Im no expert but just wanted to chime in on my experience with it. I know 3 other friends also have the same one as well without issues during the past couple of years

The reviews scare me but this checks all boxes hard not to pull the trigger at $200. Anyone have a defective one care to chime in?

Why would they lock the brightness low, causing people to pass on buying this monitor? That makes no sense.
