Brand new MBA is $949 right now at B&H. For the second time in a month too. Last time it was also for that price at Costco as well. I wouldn't buy a refurb for $869 even if there was no current deal.

Pretty awful investment imo. Only 8GB ram and 256GB SSD? Yikes especially since it's not upgradeable.

Theses are not expandable, 8GB might not be enough and 256gb is not enough.

Refurbished MBA at Apple.com is $929, I rather pay $60 more and get it directly from Apple instead of saving and getting it from a 3rd party refurb.
MBP in other hand is a great deal.

You can add apple care only if the MacBook is still under warranty. You won't know this unless you buy it and check the serial number.

Where does it say 1 year Apple warranty included? It seems that the seller is providing his own one-year warranty, not to be confused with an Apple one-year warranty.

FYI the base mba m2 has slower storage than the mba m1. I've been waiting on the mba m2 512gb to go on sale for a while now.

If you don't care about future proofing or whatever go for it. The m2 mba is a beautiful machine!
