- South Carolina & Arkansas do NOT have price limits on computers. Example: MBP is $1900, sales tax is exempt.
- If purchased in a state with Price Limit of $1500, you will pay sales tax on the entire $1900 (there are no partial exemption).
- New for Missouri this year, state AND local sales tax are exempt! Previously, local sale tax was not exempt.
- For Costco.com orders, OP has link with instructions to request a tax refund.
All authorized retailers ARE required to participate in the tax holiday for each state. Opt-outs are rare. It's against the law & violates tax codes! They're pocketing the sales tax. Contact your state's tax division if you're charged sales tax!Happy BTS Shopping!
