I have this soundbar. It sounds fine.

Subwoofer and rear speakers drop/disconnect at least once per movie and then reconnect about 30s later.

It's fine. Wish I didn't pay $450 for it. Not sure it's worth $200 tbh.

I have this set. HUGE improvement over TV speakers. I have not had any disconnect/drops like previous commenter. I do, however, hate the remote. All buttons work fine except volume up - it is super hard to press just right and Monoprice can't send just a remote replacement (they did offer to send a whole unit, me take the remote out, and return with my current remote... just seemed too clunky to worry about).

I paid $200 and it exceeded my expectations - it's not going to blow you away, but if you're looking for an upgrade and want atmos, this will serve well. The Top Gun Maverick Atmos video on YouTube is fun to watch with this setup.

Hi Jcwillia1... I also have this one, and had the same disconnect problem. Very annoying. Then I found out that if you have your wifi router close to the main speaker unit, it will interfere with the bluetooth signal for the sub and satellites. Apparently some BT signals overlap the same frequency as wifi. I moved my router to another room, and it works great! The sound is really powerful for this price. Recommended!

I have a subwoofer that I really like already. With any of these soundbar/ wireless subwoofer combos, can one also use their own sub?

You think "it's fine" the satellites and sub disconnect "once per movie"? That would drive me nuts. How is that "fine"?

I have mesh. Not close. Still sucks.
