I have this. Starting volume is way too loud. Atmos effect is practically nil. Sun drops connect for at least 30s no less than once an hour

This sound bar is underrated. I own one and it performs well at this price point. However, I recognize that it may not be for everyone. I only wish the Atmos effect were more dynamic, but I shouldn't expect much from a sound bar. If you are considering this one, look at it's capabilities and decide if it fits your needs.

I got this last year, the sub cutting out occasionally is real. I would get a $200 vizio set up on woot when they show up, which is usually pretty regular

Thinking about just going back to the Enchant because quite frankly, the 1300x is not much better.

I'm really looking for something basic for my bedroom, as the speakers in the TV itself are rattling a bit.

Living room is taken care of with a full speaker system.

With that said... good for the bedroom or nah? The comments about disconnects is a bit alarming

Why not grab powered bookshelf speakers - there's a pair on here you can also add a sub too.

It's definitely not a system for Music. Just curious, how big is the room its in and do you have wood floors? I reckon you're right on the lack of mids for sure, but I think its really hard to argue no bass, I mean the subwoofer is absolutely massive and if your using the smartthings app there is literally a bass boost option plus you can turn the subwoofer higher. The bass boost will work on all the speakers including the woofer.

To be more specific, I think its DEFINITELY worth $800. It is not worth the retail, $1300 or whatever. Very few setups have wireless satellite speakers that don't need to be connected to the woofer.
