Not a bad deal, but guessing the downvotes are due to this recent deal, might be still available at some stores, YMMV of course:

I got one from the last deal and it's definitely nice but lacks a bit in power. Used it to disassemble a golf cart but would not break loose the lug nuts on my car. Ended up getting the recent mid torque 1/2" deal for that but will be keeping this compact also.

I don't know what's wrong with your set-up, but every review I've ever seen of this thing shows that it punches above it's class and easily removes lug nuts.

My m12 fuel stubby impact removes lugs with ease.

I'm guessing you either have a bad or small battery, broken tool, severely overtightened or corroded lugs, poorly fitting socket, or are using a power robbing adapter. This tool should be more than capable of removing lug nuts on your personal truck. People in the reviews even say it works on big rigs and excavators.

Weird. I tried diff batteries all the way up to an HO 8.0. Socket is right size and truck is pretty new and no corrosion. I'll reach out to Milwaukee and see what they say.

it's always YOUR fault. milwaukee never makes bad tools. didn't you know?

this particular 3/8" is junk. it's weaker than some 1/4" tools i used with 3/8 adapters. i bought a bunch of these because i wanted to harvest the 3Ah batteries from them in the last deal, then sold the wrenches on ebay/facebook. was left with 4 batteries at about $25 a pop. for that use case these wrenches were perfect. worked great

This impact while being a solid performer is not really the best tool to reliably and quickly remove lugs.

Once every six months when you rotate tires may be fine but i would choose the mid torque if lugs were the job at hand. This one is better for suspension work, in my opinion.

When I use an impact I want the nut to loosen within 2 seconds of hitting the trigger. The reported ft/lb numbers on these tools are usually after 5-10 seconds of ugga-duggas.

It's all about the right tool for the job.. The Stubby M12 and M18 3/8" should work for most cars' lug nuts and everything below that - I've personally used my M12 to break my sedan's lugs loose. But...

That would probably explain it - especially since a lot of places over-torque lugs. Mid torque is a more appropriate choice for truck stuff & other heavier duty applications. The M12/M18 stubby might still do the job in most cases, but it's not the most appropriate choice because it's geared more toward getting into tighter places than the bigger boys (while still being capable of removing lugs on many vehicles) - and not being a huge/heavy strain on your arms.

Selecting the braking grinder as the free tool for $249 will bring this down to $119.29.
