Reviews on this are okay, but not overwhelmingly positive like the reviews for Torin. Several complaints about leaking hydraulic fluid. It's cheap, but I'm not convinced it's actually a worthwhile purchase.

I agree regarding the reviews, but except for missing handle complaints (which could be Amazon's fault or the manufacturer), some of the 'leaking' complaints can also be user error. Sure, if it leaks from the ram seal or the pump piston, then it would be the manufacturer's fault, but the reviewers never describe where the leak is from.

So if they have it laying/stored on its side with the rubber fill plug down, it doesn't take much for any brand of bottle jack to seep past that rubber plug and leak, as it's not intended to be stored in that position.
I received my Torin 20-ton a few months ago, with it laying on it's side, so the first thing I did was check the fluid level and then I bled the jack, as I always do with any new jack. Amazon also packages heavy items very poorly, so signs of impact 'battle scars' are sometimes seen, regardless of brand.

Also, no matter which brand, I often see a lot of 'user error' complaints by ppl that say a new jack won't pump fully up. It's common for any bottle jack to get air into the system when they're shipped, as they end up in all kinds of positions, for hours or even days, that aren't upright, just as mine came. These same users 1. Don't even check the fluid level. and 2. Don't even know how to properly bleed a hydraulic jack.
This issue is easily cured if the users only did both of these 2 things. This issue is not a valid blame to any manufacturer.
