It's back! Don't hesitate.

You can get decent strat copy new for about $69 shipped; but for $5 more here you get a thicker gig bag, mainly a humbucker and a rock solid return policy, for any reason. Know first; but if you change your mind then just return it. Monoprice is a known seller. eBay, wish and Temu is fine but you better vet your sellers and policies.

With a +$10 matching TUSQ nut you can perfect the fine balances of "TRAIN" super setup and the floating trem. Do not lock it down; but optional. Keeping low action, tune return(with new and stretched Ernie Ball 9's), and no fret buzz doing it. The frets are fine and if you have to smooth them more then so what? YOU WIN!

I'm in. This is too cheap not to add and mess with. Learn how to do my own setup, change electrics, etc.

Got a the Strat and Tele version of these awhile back for like 60 bucks. They are guitars that make sound, but you can definitely tell they are ultra budget guitars.
Gonna donate mine to a kids music program or something

I might spend $100 more and get a Squire. I got a Squire Affinity Telecaster for $150 last black friday and it is an awesome instrument
Squires are decent. I got a lower tier Bullet a few years ago from GC for $100 on a holiday sale. It was either Memorial or Labor Day. It's all single coils. Could use a set of locking tuners. Took a set-up, which GC included. Haven't seen Bullets less than $125 since. It's not my go-to axe, but sounds decent, and plays great. I suspect these Indios are similar, except being HSS, which is nice. $75 with bag? Can't lose.

Is this produced by slave labor? Even shipping and materials alone would seem to be more than $69.
Everything is made in China.

Everything is made by slave labor.

Monoprice has a history of blowing out defective or returned items at way below their cost.
I got the Monoprice Tele clone at around $40 and it was definitely defective (whoever sanded the fretboard flat got too aggressive from the 19th fret and up).

I chose not to return it because they only offered a refund, no exchange, and the deal was too good at the blowout price.

i've owned multiples of both and in my experience the squiers are a step above, no question. currently have a squier sonic hss (this years bullet replacement) and it blows every indio i've tried away. no sharp frets, barely any setup needed other than fresh strings, sounds great, plays great. every indio i've tried has had awful fit/finish , fret issues, nut issues, hardware issues, etc. indios are also cheaper price mind you, and it shows. i had the bullet mustang and a regular bullet strat as well and they were also in a different league than the indios...but the new sonics are even better.

He's not entirely wrong. Most lefty's I know (including myself) play right-handed. Guitar requires a fair amount of dexterity in both hands. I find that I initially had an advantage on my fretting hand, but a short coming in my picking hand. If you're a true beginner, make sure that you actually need a lefty by putting your hands on both. As a guitar buyer, you'll be at a long term disadvantage in finding good deals shopping for lefties, because many companies don't even make lefties at all. Otherwise, any good beginner guitar that has a lefty version is a good lefty beginner. Squier makes a lefty Affinity Series ($250) and Classic Vibes Telecasters ($430). Lefty deals on SD are as rare as hen's teeth.

Cheapest actually good amps are the Monoprice 15w and 5w tube amps. Personally I'd spring for the 15w because it has a much better speaker, tone control, and reverb. I still use mine even though I've been playing 20 years. The 5w is still great, I just feel the 15w is worth the upgrade. And you likely wont need to replace it for years, it's plenty loud and versatile.
Any recommendations for a decent budget bass amp?
