I have this account, started a few months ago. Only drawback I've found is that if/when they increase the interest rate on their accounts, you have to manually request an increase each time. I started at 5.03%, now requested an increase to 5.25%. I messaged them in the app at 4:53pm, they responded and updated my rate at 5:03pm (exactly 10 min). I'm ok doing a couple minutes worth of work a couple/few times a year to maintain the highest percentage. Works exactly as promised otherwise, great rates.

The dollar limits at funding are:

Maximum to transfer in: $250,000.00

The dollar limits after your account is funded are:

Maximum per day in or out $30,000.00 

Maximum per month $60,000.00

I had the same experience today. Happened to check my account and found that my 5.09% rate had been downgraded to 4.5%. I spoke to CS on the phone and they raised my rate to 5.25%. I asked what the deal was with lowering my interest rate when rates are rising -- including the rates they offer new customers. He said that I just have to check my account every week or so to see if they do it again!

So basically, this is a great account for folks willing to call them on their BS. Apparently enough customers don't do that to make it worthwhile for them to play games like this.

Hmmmm… do you think 5.25% is still available w a request? I thought that 5.15% is new highest rate they got now. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Yes 5.25 is titled Secure Savings. You can see their current rates by going to their main website while not logged in.

Quite normal for them to change their savings account name every few months. Although for me with each change the rate was higher under the new name until now.

If you have an iPhone checkout getfierce they are very similar to this with fee free atm card and 5.25% cash account but no withdrawal limits or transfer limits. Very modern app.

Also can open free stock/crypto trading and IRA accounts with them.

Their android app is coming out soon for those still living with prehistoric phones. 😎

Well they aren't fixing the interest rate it displays. Was 5.15% yesterday with claims that it was an error and was being worked on. Now today it's showing 5.14%. Wrong way guys!

they claimed it was an error because it was supposed to be lower. only you who assumed it should be 5.25.

my bad. if they actually confirmed it a couple times throughout their msg, why dont you just ask them directly. we cant really do anything here. i have a feeling they are on their way down pretty soon. so the newer number could be the correct one.
