YMMV. I bought this tonight at my Walmart at the listed price of $84. It does not have the same price on the website though. the clearance tag in front of several of them did say $84 and it rang just fine.
Good luck.
Will be YMMV. A lot of the hart yard stuff was clearing out in my region. Picked up the hart bench grinder on clearance for $20
As far as the Hart lawn tools perform. I own the 18" version of this I got on clearance. it's great if you mow frequently and don't have a stick filled yard. if you don't meet that criteria then don't expect to like this mower.
FYI. I got the self propellled version of this with 6.0amp battery (box says either 4.0 or 5.0, but ppl are getting the 6.0) for $160.
Compared to the ego 21" with 5.0 battery I've been using for several years...
The hart battery lasts way longer even though it's physically lighter and smaller battery (I realize it's 6.0 vs 5.0).
The included standard charger takes a long time to charge vs the ego's charger. I'm considering getting the $60 hart fast charger.
The hart is harder to push because it does not have bearings on the wheels.
The self propelled was messed up on my hart mower because it won't disengage and allow you to roll it backwards. I simple removed the drive gears on the wheels and just push it manually since I didn't really need self propelled anyway.
The mulching plug on the hart is odd shaped and not as easy to insert and remove.
The bag on the hart has issues. The split plastic tubes that hold the fabric bag to the metal frame are sized wrong and interfered with mounting the bag assembly to the mower. Had to trim the plastic tubes.
The ego and this mower both have the same issue a lot of mowers have. Leaves etc will get caught up in the axles of the front wheels. I'm looking for some kind of curved front mounted "rake" that I can attach and will "direct" leaves toward the center of the mower.
Update: On Wednesday, August 30th, this HART 20V 16 inch mower was dropped to $58 at my Walmart, where 2 were still in stock, even though the store inventory system/app said they were out of stock. Both came with (2) 20V 4.0Ahr batteries. The 2-year extended warranty was just under $7.00 for each. Also picked up the 20V Trimmer and Blower which also included one more 20V 4.0Ahr battery. Hoping the 5 interchangeable batteries perform well and work well in rotation.
