I personally love it but it is very weird and has lots of very mature content. Like idk if it would be rated R if it came out today. It does have lots of narration and dialog but I wouldn't consider it boring

Does have a bit of the old ultraviolence. Few lads getting kicked in the yarbles. But the dancing was darby.

I tried to get my wife to watch this classic that is must-see viewing, and she huffed and puffed through the first 15-20 minutes and said it was boring. I gave her a bit of the old ultra-violence. Actually, I said fine, you're a philistine, go watch some Love Island.

Not at all what this film is about. Read Roger Ebert's review for a good description. It's a great film but could be very disturbing to some.
