It's comments like this that encourage pencil pushers at Lego to make lame sets with 1000's of useless 1x1 parts and the sort. I'm not sure when quantity over quality became a thing. You can't honestly tally a 1x1 tile and a 1x15 beam in the same group. It makes no sense. Lego should give us the total weight of the set. That would be more useful. (Though they would probably incorporate lead bricks at that point as well....)
