Not sure I follow, but USB-C PD modulates power on expensive devices for most part. So it's not like a device limited to max 20W input will cause problems when using 30W output charger using USB-C.

You're incorrect. The Amazon Basics brand is not being discontinued for anything except apparel.

A charger rated for 30W should not have issues charging a 65W laptop for extended periods. As far as the charger is concerned, it will charge at the same rate whether it is connected to a 65W-charging laptop or a 30W-charging laptop. It will just operate at its designed limit of 30W. The laptop will simply charge slower.

Are you really going to trust this with your expensive devices?

This. Also, I purchased two other Amazon Basics USB-C PD chargers, they work great and I have zero issues with either of them

edit: I do not have the additional 20% coupon showing up for my account, on the product page

I had a feeling this might happen with the 20% coupon. It might only be for certain accounts. I have no idea how Amazon chooses who it gives these coupons to.

I just clicked on the terms for the coupon and it says this coupon is: "Save 20% on Wireless Accessories"

So maybe this coupon is only for certain accounts. Has anyone else been able to clip and use this particular coupon?

Pretty easy to Google problems. If you're charging under supervision, it's probably fine. If you're leaving your device charging overnight/unsupervised, good luck.
You are mistaken if you think latest USB-C PD devices will have an issue of overcharging.

I could see rare instances causing problems, but to say that 30W USB-C PD will damage a newer/recent device with Max input of 20W, then Sir you are mistaken.

OTOH it is not wise to charge 65W laptop with 30W on daily basis. That could possibly do more harm due to heat being produced at max levels for longer period of time. Ofcourse the 65W would adopt to 30W charging.

No Coupon… also Amazon is ditching Amazon Basic lineup for good(No idea why).
iPhone 15 is coming out in about 1 month, so i would expect better deals from Amazon Basic/Anker to push their Type-C accesories.
