For anyone that has this stringer, do you all have issues with the bumping mechanism working? My line never gets longer after bumping it on the ground like a mad man. I have to always open the head to pull the line out manually.

I have the non power head model without the quick reload and have never had problems. I was lucky enough to buy this deal, I can report back on my experience if it helps.

I just happened to check SD right before bed, which I sometimes do, and saw this deal. I thought it might be a refurb, but the like the guy who replied to my post, the Woot posting said it's new. I know it's an outgoing model, but I figured it would be a good deal to get more into the Ego ecosystem (already have an Ego mower and blower) and continue phasing out my old B&D e-power tools.

I had an issue with the telescopic string trimmer. I exchanged it and the problem never occurred again.
