Is this a good deal? Says its $599.99 save $350. How does this compare to the recently frontpage Giordano?

The original $599 is definitely a markup, at the $250 mark, it seems ok, not a great deal. This bike has basic components and values at what it is. The Giordano was probably a better deal. There should be more steep discounts with oversupply of bikes and components from the pandemic these days.

I bought and cancelled the $100 bike, I bike to much to buy and use garbageā€¦but I may buy one after all to leave at vacay spot as I have none there

How well do aluminum frames/forks hold up to abuse? I have non-chrome forks on my current bike and they're rusty.

Aluminum (at least, decent aluminum) is quite durable and frames can last a very long time. Aluminum doesn't rust but it can corrode.

This isn't an aluminum fork. This is an alloy metal fork which is stronger than aluminum.
