Tele is my favorite guitar because of the feel and the versatility.

1. What's your budget?
2. Would you prefer playing with new sounds and effects or better overall tone?
3. How confident are you that the person who is new to guitar will still be playing in 3-5 years?

Right now they have a 20 Watt unit for 59 bucks (if you buy both you can use the $25 off coupon)

In my case, when I started, I used a cuvave (or Lekato) multi effect pedal with headphones. I got familiar with different settings and then bought an amplifier.

Good luck

Monoprice has a similar electric guitar bundle for the Indio Cali that includes an amp, and it often goes on sale for around $85-90.

Looking at the deal history on Slick Deals, it looks like the bundle goes on sale multiple times during the Summer and around December.

Dang, been waiting for this to go on sale again for months. Ended up caving and bought a more expensive Harley Benton. Don't regret it cause the guitar is awesome for the price, but I don't think I can justify another guitar, even if it's super cheap 😭
