Weird turn this discussion is taking. Several games on here worth $8 alone. Sable, Little Orpheus, if you still don't have Yooka-Laylee. Definitely worth it. And the charity is not something bad or anything.

Well it could perhaps fund tho scholarship for the kids that want to get into making games. More ppl making games, the better for gamers! Power to the gamers.

This is a weird opinion. You claim it's because "there's stuff going on in the world" but there is always and has always been "stuff going on"

The few of us lucky enough to afford luxury should just enjoy it. Our ancestors worked very hard and overcame many obstacles so we could have what we want and do what we want.

If that makes you feel guilty than the reason is you just don't feel grateful enough. You need to find a way to respect their sacrifice. Most people do so by building something for the next generation or contributing somewhere.

In time you'll see, life goes on. And we should all enjoy it as much as we can while we can. If an opportunity to help the suffering of others comes along you'll know it. And then you can choose to do something about it or not.
